My name is Colin Pound. I was born and raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but spent over 10 years in New Orleans, Louisiana honing my skills. I am a seasoned private chef and caterer based in Pottstown, PA, with a deep-rooted passion for bringing the flavors of the South to every table.

My culinary journey began in the vibrant French Quarter of New Orleans, where I immersed myself in the rich tapestry of Creole and Cajun cuisines. Over the course of 12 years, I honed my skills and developed a profound appreciation for the bold flavors and cultural diversity that define Southern cooking.

During my time in New Orleans, I had the privilege of serving as a sous chef under the legendary Emeril Lagasse. Working alongside Chef Lagasse was a transformative experience that further fueled my culinary ambitions and deepened my understanding of fine dining and hospitality.

In 2019, my dedication and culinary prowess were recognized when I clinched 2nd place in the prestigious "Best Chefs of Louisiana" event, organized by the American Culinary Federation. This achievement not only affirmed my commitment to excellence but also propelled Pound Southern Provisions to new heights of acclaim.

Driven by my passion for Southern cuisine and a desire to share my culinary journey with others, I founded Pound Southern Provisions. Based in the heart of Pottstown, PA, my catering services specialize in creating bespoke menus that showcase the authentic flavors of the South while incorporating locally sourced ingredients.
